Exotic Fruit Salad

Making this Fruit Salad will surely give you (and your loved ones) a sensational and pleasant feeling of freshness.

Lemon, mandarin, kiwi and other citrus fruits in fresh condition, are foods from which you can easily get a liberal dose of vitamins and minerals. Especially the fresh ginger that gives this salad a special flavor with its refreshing, spicy strength.

Preparation

Clean the fruit, peel and cut into slices. Keep the pomegranate seeds in some container aside. Mix water and sugar, add the grated zest, lime juice and grated ginger. Cook for about 10 minutes. Stir well the fruit and pour the cooled syrup. Serve the fruit salad in a glass bowl and sprinkle some pomegranate seeds in top of it.

Fruit salad is always a great choice for dessert.
If you want to reduce your calorie intake or the total amount of carbohydrates, instead of sugar you can use some non natural sweeteners or you may prepare the fruit salad without adding of sugar in it.
