A fresh salad is a great choice for breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks, and besides them you can easily add some boiled or baked meat or mushrooms.
During summer, no matter how much we desire simply we can not eat fatty and caloric foods. When temperatures start to rise, everything your body needs for intake is something fresh and cold.
You have a lot`s of choices, but if you still lack of ideas, these are our favorites:
Cabbage and Carrot
Nothing will refresh you like this mix of pickled cabbage and carrot. Grate them first and instead of vinegar add squeezed lemon juice, add a few nuts and spice it with chopped parsley.
Italians know best! This is a perfect blend of mozzarella, cherry tomatoes and balsamic vinegar.
Spinach, avocado and grapefruit
This summer salad is ideal for dinner along with a glass of white wine. All you need is chopped fresh spinach, avocado into thin slices and grapefruit cubes. Rather than refine, grind some salty mozzarella cheese.
Corn, Tomato and Cucumber
You`ll need some boiled corn, tomato, pepper, cucumber and browned onion. The vitamins contained in it are perfect for a refreshing start of the day.
Grapefruit with vegetables
If you want to experiment with flavors, you can try with this salad of lettuce, cucumber and grapefruit. Combine it with your favorite spices and eat it as a vitamin snack.
Salad with Pineapple
Prepare your plain salad of lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, avocado and whatever you come to mind. But finally add a few pieces of pineapple which previously can be baked. Get the exotic flavor by adding mix of lemon juice and pineapple.
Mozzarella, peppers and asparagus
Finely chop a few slices of mozzarella and asparagus sprigs. Boil it for few minutes and finely chop one pepper. Add some balsamic or lemon juice on top.
This salad is prepared with thin pieces of carrot, beetroot and half an orange. Ideal for breakfast along with a cup of green tea.
