By replacing white sugar with fruit, seeds and other healthy sugar substitutes and the white flour with integral foods, we have prepared few recipes for desserts that are equally delicious as well as the others that are less “healthier”.
If you pay enough attention to the quantity and type of candies you eat, you can still enjoy sweets and tough not adversely affect your health.
Consuming large amounts of sweets made from white flour and refined sugar is the main cause of obesity and all the diseases that accompany it.
Surprise your family with some of these healthy recipes prepared with natural sugar substitutes.
Heat the oil and honey first and then add all remaining ingredients.
Knead the dough. If necessary, add a little honey.
Cut into desired shapes and bake for 20 minutes to half an hour at 180 °C.
• 3 cups grated carrots
• 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
• 1 cup cooked rice ( you may use and some other grains )
• 1 cup water
• 2 pinches of salt
• 2 tablespoons oil
• 1/2 cup of cooked pumpkin
Mix all ingredients and place them in oiled baking pan. Bake for 45 minutes at 180 °C.
Pie with pears
Mix the ingredients. Add a splash of apple juice to moisten the mixture. Place in an oiled baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes in the oven previously preheated to 80 °C.
Boil a cup of raisins 10 minutes in apple juice. Mix the raisins with 2 cups of sliced pears, 1 grated orange rind and a cup of roasted chopped hazelnuts. Put all on top of the baked crust. Bake for ten minutes.
• 1.5 cups of whole wheat flour
• 1.5 cups of oatmeal
• 2 cups cooked pumpkin
• 4 tbsp sesame oil
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
Mix all ingredients together. If necessary, add a little water.
Knead the dough and bake till it gets the desired shape.
Bake 20 minutes in the oven that you previously heated to 200 ° C.
