7 Women’s Health Problems that Men Don`t have

Have you ever heard that even diseases have polarity, and certain types often affect women’s health more often than mens? Experts identified seven common diseases of which the greater number that suffer are women.

– “We still do not know the main cause for these differences. There are some studies that indicate the activity of estrogen, but we still need additional studies to make” – said Virginia Lad, founder and director of “American Association of autoimmune diseases“


1.Multiple sclerosis

Multiple sclerosis is a disease of the central nervous system which affects 2.1 million people in the world, according to the report of the American Society for multiple sclerosis. The women suffer three times more often.

Some, this disease classify as an autoimmune disease. It occurs between 20 and 40 years, accompanied by paralysis and impairment of vision. The cure for this disease till now is still unknown.



Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease in which the immune system becomes hyperactive and starts attacking the normal tissue. Causes damage to internal organs and skin, leading to a wide range of symptoms, the most common are swelling of the legs, arms, eyes, hair loss, headache.

More than 90 percent of people in the world who have this disease are women, according to the American association for lupus. The cause of the disease is still unknown. It often occurs during youth and some women have the disease for years without knowing about it making its way of spreading much easier and giving it larger chances to endanger the health condition.

Patients report to a doctor with a headache or another kind of pain, but the doctor usually does not refer them to the examination of the kidneys that would certainly show whether the patient has lupus or not.


3.Chronic fatigue syndrome

Women are four times more likely to suffer from chronic fatigue syndrome, accompanied by muscle pain, memory loss and insomnia. The cause of its appearance is also unknown. Some experts believe it might be hormones related.



Depression also is a more common problem for women rather than men.

One in five women during her lifetime is dealing with it.

Some relate this with the huge hormonal changes that appear at women during their menstrual cycle, pregnancy or menopause.

Some experts say that women live longer than men, so the age itself often brings a sense of loneliness and therefore depression.

5.Celiac disease

Celiac disease, which is characterized by organism intolerance to gluten, wheat, barley and rye, in most cases impacts women, by reaching between 60 and 70 percent of patients, says the American Association for raising awareness about this disease.

It’s associated with symptoms such as drastic weight loss, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and with time it reflects on the reproductive potency in women.

Some studies explain the connection between celiac disease and the menstrual cycle and infertility disorders. Most commonly, the disease id diagnosed around age 45, and on average women before diagnosis, it’s already present for almost 10 years.

6.Irritable bowel syndrome

From this syndrome in the United States, each year are diagnosed 3.5 million people, 65 percent of them are women. It is characterized by intestinal function disorder and sift pain in the abdomen. Women feel much greater pain than men, especially during their menstrual cycle.

7.Sexualy transmited diseases

Although in this field, most men and women are equal, still women have a little lead. The skin of the vagina is more sensitive than the skin of the penis, and is more susceptible to infections.

These diseases bring more serious health problems to women rather than men, fortunately, women more often pay a visit to the doctor and doing so, they prevent more serious consequences on time.

    Yes agree with all these points and I know how much my wife suffers which I can’t never thought off. I still remember those days when she was pregnant and she was unable to bear the pain that she gets every second..

    Very terrible but yes they have god’s gift which no man can get ever. I respect my wife and all the ladies.. :-)
